We replaced the hard drive on this web server without losing any forum posts or members.

The forum www.renaissancefestival.com has been offline since 9:00 PM Central time Friday 10/26/2007. This is only temporary. The operating system failed during a configuration change and reboot. The configuration change was needed because backups were failing over the past 3 days. When alerted to the failing backups I performed a backup of my own to my workstation. That was Thursday. We should only have one days lost posts.  I apologize for any lots posts.

The hosting company is installing a new hard drive and Windows. I'll install the forum and email. I don't have an estimate on how long it will take to get the forum running again. I'm hoping to have it done this weekend.
